No. Of course we would love to have you starting your freshman year; the more time you are attending classes at NESA, the more you will get out of the program. We accept students entering 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades.

No. Because our classes have a sequential curriculum, we only accept new students at the beginning of school in August. The only exception is for a student who is moving to San Antonio from out-of-state or out of the San Antonio area during the school year and who has extensive prior experience in the arts discipline for which s/he wishes to audition. Students in that situation should call the NESA Office and speak with the Director to arrange for an application and audition.
