In order to delete a symbol from the symbol entry drop-down box, simply place your mouse over the symbol you would like to delete, the symbol in the drop-down should be highlighted in blue and then press the delete button on your keyboard. You cannot delete the active symbol in the component window. Please note that deleting symbols from the drop-down will also delete them from your list of favorites if you have created a list in preferences. Top

When a FAQ entry is submitted to a FAQ that you "own", you will receive a system message (flashing red icon). Opening it will display a message like this one: The entry is in small letters, and you can examine it by clicking on "edit". It may or may not be accompanied by a user's name ... if not, it is just a question with no answer. If when you examine the entry, you find it is acceptable as is, check the topic that it is going under, and if satisfactory, hit "submit".

If this is an entry that has been submitted, but not yet added to the FAQ, you can simply click on "del" visible at the end of the proposed entry. If you would like to delete a FAQ subject that has expired or is no longer accurate, you can do it by clicking on "del" at the bottom of the entry when viewing it. The date shows the last revision, with the time.

YES! The drop box is located outside on the east side of O'Brien Hall. It's big and blue; you can't miss it. You may also use a mail service to return the books, however, it is preferable that you return borrowed items in person. Videos and other limited circulation (i.e, fragile, unique) items should not be dropped in the after-hours box, but should be returned to the WRCA circulation desk in 410 O'Brien Hall. Please do not return WRCA materials to other campus libraries.

PurgeIE does not support such a function. However, A&RC has made available a FreeWare program for managing the "URL address dropdown list". It is "EditURLs" and can be downloaded via - www.aandrc.com/editurls. This provides for editing of the entries as well as deleting entries. "EditURLs" also provides for saving a sacred set of URL entries for restoring on demand.

After a download has finished the "Download Report" dialog will appear. All symbols that are invalid will be displayed in this dialog. Ticker symbols are entered using the symbol input box located in the upper left-hand portion of the window. After each symbol is entered into the input box, click the "Add Symbol" button to proceed. To enter multiple symbols, put a comma between the symbols, ie: aol,msft,csco,ibm & click the "Add Symbol" button to proceed . Each list will allow up to 50 unique symbols. A total of 500 symbols can be entered into your portfolio.

Use the Change Symbol command to change all the symbols you want to delete to a symbol you are not currently using. Then delete that symbol. In EasyGrapher Professional 2000 and later releases, the Change Color Key command has features to make actions like this much easier to do.

The problem usually is that =ESQSymbols(range,"title") isn't included in your spreadsheet or the <range> isn't including the new symbols you just added. Cell B4: in ESQExample2.xls shows this. There are several possible ways that you can obtain BoardMaker symbols to use in the home. It would be worth talking to your speech and language therapist, as they might be able to help with symbols for home. Some Health Boards have speech and language therapy assistant who are excellent at making symbol resources in BoardMaker. They are unlikely to be able to produce large amounts of symbols but will help to update communication books and charts.
