Stove size in kilowatts (kW) is directly related to the Sauna-room's volume - assuming it has been correctly built and insulated. To determine 'volume', measure the width, depth and height of sauna room (in metres) and multiply them together. To verify this rough calculation (and for larger sauna rooms) see the 'full details' pages for our stoves, where the suggested sauna volumes are shown for each model.

Select only the emergency electric items that you will need. Calculate the watts for each item and add them up. (If items are shown in amps, multiply amps x voltage for watts) Select the closest generator watt output to that of your selected load watts. An even easier method is to review our "Sizing a generator", calculator. Yes, most portable sets are designed to run full speed.

a rough guide, 1kW of heat will be sufficient for 14 cubic meters. E.g. Room size = 4.5m x 5m x 2.2m equals 49.5 cubic meters. Divide 49.5 by 14 = 3.5kW

We give the best possible size range chart for the general rider for each one of our frames. Check out the sizing chart of the frame you are interested in to get an idea of the proper sizing. Our feeling is that the most important dimension is the top tube length.

Heating output is specified in kilowatts, kW, (metric units) or BTUs (Imperial units) and represents the rate at which the system can deliver heat energy. Sizing of heating systems should be done by a qualified heating engineer. It is dependent on many factors including levels of insulation and draught proofing of your home, lowest outside temperature of your locality and patterns of use.

Sizes are indicated in both European and US sizing. Since many manufacturers use slightly different size conversions between the EURO and US sizes, it is safest to measure your foot from toe to heel and use the size chart to determine which size is most appropriate. When fitting your boots, it is important to ensure that with the laces tightend, the boot wraps securely around your foot. If the heel is not locked in, stability will be compromised and you will most likely get blisters.

We highly recommend, regardless of your weight, height or physical body condition, you measure your arm circumference. If your arm size is 7 to 9 inches you need the small adult cuff, 9 to 13 inches is the standard size adult cuff, and 13 to 17 inches is the large adult cuff. Each model is approved for use with specified cuff sizes. When the wrong cuff size is used you may get an inaccurate reading at your first measurement, or after a short period of use because the cuff bladder is damaged.

The filter shipped with your Carrier unit is made from higher-quality materials than those of the disposable filters found in retail stores. For that reason, replacement Carrier filters can only be purchased through a Carrier dealer. However, keep in mind that Carrier filters are reusable, and can be washed by hand in cold water. Your Carrier dealer is your troubleshooting expert, and is glad to help you.

Measuring for a bracelet - Use a soft tape measure and give me the measurement of your wrist, at the wrist bone, not the bracelet size you usually wear. Note the measurement to the closest 1/4 of an inch or in centimeters and enter it in the "comments" section when checking out. (If you do not have a soft tape measure, use a string and then measure that using a ruler.) Sometimes if a bracelet or bangle needs to made unusually large, there may be a price adjustment.

The Road Harness is imported and will last approx 5-7 years. Smucker's harness is made in the US and will last approx 15+ years.

Clinical studies have shown that a better seal is obtained by using a larger size with less air. Using too small a mask and over-inflating the cuff will decrease compliance and may result in a poor fit within the laryngeal space. Therefore, start by choosing the largest size you think will fit and inflate with the smallest volume required to obtain an adequate seal.

Place your cursor over the banner, right click, select "properties", and you should have the "size" and "dimentions" shown. Banners must be 468 X 60 pixels, and less than 18,000 bytes.

We typically use Adobe Photoshop but CityDesk 2 contains a very nice picture editor which you can use to edit JPG/JPEG images. But not GIFs! Simply right-click on the JPG image you want to edit and select "open with built-in picture editor". Note that when you try this with a GIF image it will say "open with the built-in picture viewer" (no editing possible).

Pull your filter out of your furnace or air handler, the size will be written on the side. If your filter is media only and does not indicate the size, measure the media. If you have a filter that is wrapped around the bottom of the furnace please call for instructions. It is an industry standard that actual filter size is 1/4 to 1/2 inch smaller than stated size.
