Clients choose gel over acrylic because of preference- they can be much more shinier than the acrylics or they may not be able to wear acrylics for whatever reason such as an oily nail bed (acrylic doesn't stay on well) or sensitivities to the product. We do much more acrylic than gel nails. They seem to hold up on the nails better.

There have never been any recorded cases that state nail product fumes are harmful to the lungs. Remember, anytime a product has a strong odor, even cleaning products in your home, it's recommended these products only be used in well-ventilated areas. The nail technician will advise you on this and you will continue the care with regular maintenance's.
