Yes, in many cases. One thing to bear in mind is that the inside dimensions of our 1 litre square jars are 80x80 mm, and the paddles on some jar testers have 3" (76 mm) wide paddles. Therefore, with these testers there will be only 2 mm clearance between the ends of these paddles and the jar walls, so careful centering is necessary.
