You must register for SIGGRAPH 2007 before you can request or receive a letter of invitation. If you register online, the system will allow you to print your invitation letter after you register. If you register by postal or courier service, or fax, you can use your registration number to request an invitation letter from the online system after you receive your registration confirmation.

Students who have been classified as "Overseas" for fees purposes and have been made an unconditional offer from the University will automatically receive the necessary paperwork for visa purposes once they have accepted the offer. This will state the course offered, the length of the course, the level of tuition fees and a rough estimate of living expenses.

If you have had a paper accepted for the conference we can provide you with a letter confirming this so you can apply for funding. We can only provide a letter confirming that you have registered for the conference if you have completed the registration process and made full payment. We will not provide a letter saying that you have registered if you have submitted the online registration form, but we have not received your payment.

Nonimmigrant visa applicants must qualify for a visa based on their own ties to a place of residence outside of the U.S. While an invitation may be helpful, friends and relatives in the United States cannot act as guarantors for nonimmigrant visa applicants. In short, as early as possible. Applicants for A and G visas should submit their applications one month prior to their desired date of departure. Applicants for J visas should submit their applications at least two months before they plan to depart Iraq.

The advertising material must be produced only on film as advised by the event co-ordinator and this must be sent to London ITE Head Office by courier no later than 4 months before the Show.

For both undergraduate and postgraduate students, the Admissions Office can only provide letters for Visa purposes once a student's application status has become Unconditional Firm, that is, the student has met the full conditions of the offer, and have informed the Admissions Office of their results and have had their place confirmed. For postgraduates, this also means that you have returned your Offer Reply form accepting your place with us, subject to your academic conditions.

We will send you a To Whom It May Concern letter stating details of your degree scheme, term dates and living expenses after we have confirmed your place. According to the Regulation 11(1) "Place of Application for Permanent Resident Visa", you need to apply at your country of nationality or the country where you are residing if you have been lawfully admitted to that country for a period of at least one year.

The length of time between the date you submit your application and the date on which your interview will be scheduled varies depending upon fluctuations in the number of visa applicants. We recommend you schedule your appointment approximately two-three weeks prior to your desired departure date. On the other hand, a Consular officer should be able to evaluate the visa qualifications of non-Tajikistani citizens who live in Tajikistan just as easily as those of Tajikistani applicants. Consular officers must evaluate the qualifications of the visa applicant.

The Consular Section strongly suggests that you apply well in advance of your intended travel date. While many visas are issued the day after the interview, certain applications require additional administrative processing, which can last, on average, between one (1) and four (4) weeks.
