Lee College administers the THEA test at least once each month. Students are advised to contact the Counseling Center for exact dates and times. Score results will be mailed to the student’s home and should arrive one to three weeks after testing. The College has ways in which you will be able to demonstrate that you are ready for college level work. This may include developmental courses and retesting.

The ASSET test measures reading, language and math literacy. A student's success in college programs can be partially attributed to their basic skill level. Skills most often identified by employers as critical to an entry-level job and for career growth include ability to read and follow directions, ability to communicate in writing and verbally, and ability to do computations in career-based applications such as preparing a project budget.

There is no income test or asset test to get into AccessTN. People in all income brackets will be eligible to participate in this coverage. There will be an income test to be eligible for premium assistance.

The ITI uses the Differential Aptitude Tests (DAT), which have a standardized multiple-choice format. Testing takes place during the 3-4 months prior to admission. The testing fee is $25. There will also be an opportunity to take a Practice DAT prior to the actual DAT administration. The testing fee for the Practice DAT is $15. See the Schedule for specific dates and times.

Assets can be checking or savings accounts, vehicles, campers, boats, snowmobiles, life insurance policies, land, a house, etc. Because there is no "asset test" for Healthy Steps insurance or Medicaid (children and family coverage group only), a family can own a house, two cars, and other assets and their children may still be eligible for Healthy Steps insurance or Medicaid.

Iowa Lakes provides assessment services to all freshmen. These assessments guide you into appropriate academic courses. Academic Assistance ASSET and COMPASS assess skills in the areas of writing, reading and mathematics. ASSET is a timed paper-and-pencil test while COMPASS is an untimed test on the computer. The use of calculators is not allowed on the numerical skills test of ASSET, but is allowed on other math tests.

Students must satisfy the THEA or an approved alternative test before enrolling in college level courses unless otherwise exempt or waived.

Yes. All tests were designed to minimize the need for computer experience/familiarity. Typing skills are not required. Most responses to neurocognitive subtests are recorded using the spacebar or number keys. Administrators may assist test takers in completing the online questionnaires without compromising the neurocognitive test results. In addition, some of our subtests are normed for subjects with little or no computer experience.

The state exam is administered by PSI testing center. The testing center in Asheville is located at 1306-C Patton Avenue, near Haywood Road, just west of town. The state test is 115 multiple choice questions, four hours long, given on a computer.

The physical fitness test for Correction Officer will be conducted on selected dates from June 12, 2007 through June 15, 2007. Candidates will be required to take the physical fitness test on the date, time and location for which they are scheduled. There will be no makeup exams scheduled.

There is no limitation on the frequency with which an employee may be tested for illegal drug use. Under random testing, the employee will be tested whenever the sampling method used selects the employee. In addition, the employee could also be tested for some other reason, e.g., post accident, as determined necessary.

Historically, the written test has been given during the month of December, usually the first or second Saturday. There are several reasons for this. First, it is the dead time of year freeing up both rangers and LBG's to polish up, test, print, administer, and score the exam.
