How soon can Concrete Remedy Deep Seal and Top Seal be applied to new concrete?
FAQ - DogKennelFloors.comThe general rule for DS is that it can be applied as soon as you can walk on the finished concrete without leaving a track. Generally, on concrete outside, the time required after finishing is usually about 12 to 24 hours. For concrete that is poured inside, as in a building or under roof, the time required may be longer than 12- 24 hours. How soon can I seal my new deck?
Wood Deck Cleaning and Deck Staining Specialists. - Deck Det...We recommend you let your deck dry for a minimum of four weeks after construction of your deck before we apply a penetrating sealer. The problem with new wood is that the grains are closed and the wood still contains natural chemicals called tannins and mill glaze. If left to nature, it would take 3-6 months for the grain to open and the natural chemicals to leach out. By using a combination of powerwashing and mill glaze remover, we can speed up this process. Do we have to hire ACDI to re-seal our concrete?
FAQ'sThe answer is no. Sealing concrete doesn't take a scientist. In fact, most of our past client's re-seal their concrete on their own with little assistance from ACDI. The trick is making sure it's not going to rain, it's not under 50 degrees, the slab is clean and dry, and the temperature isn't hot outside (over 80 degrees). The same principles in painting work in re-sealing your concrete. If you purchase a 3-gallon Chapin concrete sprayer, you'll make sealing much faster and easier. See similar questions...
