Always follow the printed instructions for your engine. As a general guideline: As the air bleed screw won't affect the way the engine runs with the throttle barrel more than a couple of mm open my suggestion, turn the screw all the way in until it stops (DON'T overtighten it). This will give you your maximum rich idle mixture. Now set your high speed needle as instructed in your manual. You can then back out the screw a little at a time.

Answer: The carburettor settings on old bikes are often set rich to keep the bike running with old, worn parts or failing magnetos. Your new BT-H magneto will often fire weaker mixtures which helps your petrol consumption. If you have fitted a "new" carburettor don't assume that it will be OK because it is "new". CY is a chinese company that produces good quality engines, similar in design to the popular and slightly more expensive Zenoah engines. The more expensive cars are often supplied with Zenoah engines, which run a bit smoother, develop a bit more power CC for CC. A Zen 26 should outperform (though not by much) a CY26.
