Romania has a four-season temperate continental climate, similar to Hokkaido. Summers are hot, up to 35 degrees Celsius, although lack of humidity makes the high temperature easier to endure. Winters are cold, down to -15 degrees Celsius, with large quantities of snow. Autumn is the season when rain is likely to fall.
