why can't I play to CD games anymore?

It doesn't work anymore because of the CD-ROM extension of Mac OS. In the latest versions of this extension, direct access to CD-ROMs was disabled, and now MagicEngine can not read PC-Engine CDs anymore. Under Mac OS 8 or 9 it's possible to install an older version of this extension to make CD emulation possible again, but it does not work in OS X. To be able to play to CD games again in OS X you will have to wait the OS X version of MagicEngine.
