Why is there oil in my air filter box?
ORG FAQIt is common for all 924's and 931's to have some amount of oil in the air filter box (airbox). This is due to the fact that the crankcase breather vents back into the airbox, for emissions purposes. However, there should not be an excessive amount of oil in there, as it's put there by blowby.
