Or try commenting out the loading of the freetype support in your XF86Config. You could try going back to an older version of the drivers. You might try the fix which is available on the following site: Winamp reports the location of the first MPEG header in the MPEG stream data. Canon Switzerland has the PowerShot drivers for the PS600 on it's web site. These are version 1.21 and in English, French and German.
