Our Econoburn™ wood boilers use substantially less wood to produce high volumes of hot water than conventionally built furnaces. The boiler can effectively burn any type of precut cord wood, scrap lumber, or other pieces of a minimum size, even fresh cut green wood. The suggested models below are based on a well insulated home. Other factors to consider are quality, size and number of windows, R-Value of insulation in wall and ceilings, storm doors, single story or double story home, and geographical region (i.e. cold climate such as New York, Michigan, Canada, or semi warm climate such as Virginia, Tennessee).
