Acrobat Reader is simply a viewer. No changes can be made to a document. It is necessary to use Adobe Acrobat Exchange to manipulate documents in PDF format.

Most semiconductor manufacturers use this format for data sheets. A PDF viewer (Acrobat Reader) may be obtained from http://www.adobe.com. Many semiconductor manufacturers either link to Adobe or have local copies of the viewer on their own sites. A freeware pdf viewer for Xwindows systems is also available, do a search for xpdf.
