Sure can - Most email programs like Outlook and Eudora let you insert images into your email. CMS will automatically pull them back out and create JPG or GIF files for use in your content. You can even insert tables from other Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel.

If you have security features like I do, it may be simply a matter of putting your mouse over where the graphics should be (if they're empty boxes) and clicking the right mouse button to download them. Two reasons. First, The Privateer is available in different formats. Including charts in an ASCII (text) file is impossible. We could do it with the HTML file, but that would require you to set up a directory structure on your hard disk to merge the charts with the body of the newsletter. QAML was simply not designed for rich graphics. Authors are restricted to using fairly simple text. However, two kinds of graphics are available: inline linked graphics and logos. You can put in inline graphics using the link element inside paragraphs. You must also specify an href attribute with the WWW URL of the graphic and a role attribute with the value "Image". (Another role you may find useful is "Sound".) You can put in logos using the logo element.
