Patients are encouraged to schedule in advance, allowing them to choose their doctor and the date of their procedure, but if you have a flexible schedule and can react quickly, you can save even more money by choosing our Standby Program. Your name is placed on a waiting list, and when your name reaches the top of the list, we schedule you with the first available physician and date.

A standby describes the circumstance of a team of cryonics-emergency support people standing by the bedside of a patient waiting for the heart to stop − and for legal pronouncement of death. Once a qualified medical professional has pronounced death the standby team can begin cardiopulmonary support (heart compression and ventilation) and cooldown to preserve the living tissues and organs of the cryonics patient.

Anyone is eligible to play in either the Open or CoRec. The difference is that an Open team could be all men or all women or mixed. The CoRec requires an equal number of males to females to be on the court or field at all times. For instance, a team of four would consist of two males and two females. However, an odd-number team such as five would, of course, have more of one gender than the other. Also, CoRec official rules are a bit different to accommodate the equal numbers.

Talk time is the amount of time you spend conversing on your wire- less phone, either making outgoing calls or receiving incoming calls. Standby time is the amount of time that you have your phone on, but are not actually talking on it. You do not have three hours of talk time and thirty hours of standby time on one battery; you have either three hours maximum to talk or thirty hours maximum to be on standby.

A standard gyro just dampens unwanted movements of the tail. To keep things simple lets say you are hovering and several gusts of wind hits the helicopter from the side, the gyro will keep the helicopter from suddenly swinging nose into the wind, but the helicopter will eventually drift nose into the wind. A heading hold gyro will keep the nose pointed in the same place until you tell it to move.

The Teens and Trails Program (TNT), is shorter then other programs because the youth are younger (ages 14-15). The programs for 16-19 yr olds are typically 5-weeks long. However, as another option for corps members, we do have two programs that are 6-weeks long. The only difference between these two programs is the length of time.

All six USC Marshall MBA programs award the same MBA diploma which is accredited by AACSB International. The faculty who teach in IBEAR also teach in other MBA programs or in undergraduate programs. IBEAR participants are older than the students in most two-year MBA programs. There are fewer U.S. nationals and more participants from outside the U.S. in IBEAR than in most two-year MBA programs. The one-year length is seen as an advantage by IBEAR's older participants.

Each degree has a focus to its studies. For example, the Bachelor of Arts studies people oriented disciplines such as psychology, history, politics, and languages. In comparison the Bachelor of Science studies the sciences that are not necessarily people oriented, such as biology, mathematics, and statistics. Within a degree [except for Nursing], students may choose a major. This is a specific area of study within the overall degree.

The standard level requires that you pass with a score of 2.75 or above on a scale of 1.0 - 5.0, where 5.0 is the highest. The master level requires that you pass with a score of at least 4.0.

Standard shipping is our choice of ground shipping. This may be USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other ground shipper. Priority is our choice of expedited shipping, generally with 3 day arrival from the time the order is shipped. Priority can be USPS Priority Mail, UPS 3-day, FedEx Express or other expedited shipper. The "On/Off power switch" controls the AC main feed and should be left on at all times.   The "reset button" is a "soft" power up switch and is the actual mechanism for powering up your amplifier.

Standby Mode- This is a very shallow form of power management that will shutoff the screen and spin down the hard drive when the lid is closed. Upon opening the lid you should be able to come out of Standby Mode simply by pressing any key. Suspend to RAM Mode- This will save all of the information about what is currently running to memory. It will shutoff your PCMCIA cards and your display, spindown your hard drive, and power down any other peripherals that you have.

The differences really have to do with the steps needed to have emergency power flowing into your house in the event of a power outage. Portable systems are wheeled units that require you to roll the generator outside, start it up, and hook it up to a power inlet box.

Specialized, Exceptional Service – CORE is supervised by trained and caring PNBC staff that specializes in the area of spinal fitness. Our staff has worked with each CORE member during his/her rehabilitation program, and thus understands the medical history and specific needs of each participant. Unlike generalized fitness programs offered in health clubs, CORE members receive a program tailored to their spinal fitness needs.

Our training programs are customized to meet your individual needs. We do offer standard program outlines, however our philosophy is no two needs are exactly alike. We invite you to read through the outlines to identify those areas that are of interest, but from there we will work with you to create a program that fits.

When your name reaches the top of the list, we schedule your procedure in the first available opening. If you cannot fill that opening, your name is moved to the bottom of the list, unless we have given you less than seven days notice. The "Standby" button shuts down the front panel LEDs and disconnects communication between the cable modem and the computer(s) connected through the cable modem, while remaining active on the cable operator's RF network. This provides a means of security to the user by "disconnecting" them from the Internet when they are not using it. SURFboard cable modems have an extra "Standby" LED that illuminates when "Standby" is engaged.

In FAA we have learned that food addiction is a biochemical disease similar to alcoholism or drug addiction. It is a part of our genetic makeup. Although many food addicts have compulsive behaviors surrounding food that need to be dealt with, FAA's initial focus is on treating our physical addiction by abstaining from the addictive substances. Compulsion is the behavioral component of food addiction and is addressed as we continue working our program of recovery.
