The rooms and suites are ideal for couples that are looking for spacious, high quality accommodations. Honeymooners love the large bathrooms and the private bathtub on the deck of the suites. The rooms comfortably sleep two guests sharing the King size bed. The suites comfortably sleep a family of three, with the parents in the main bedroom and one child on the comfortable pull out couch or the day bed in the living area.

Use pillows to help create a comfortable position. One suggestion is to sleep with one leg hooked over a pillow, a pillow cushioning your belly and a pillow behind your back, supporting it. You can buy big king-sized pillows or even body pillows. It is not true that it is dangerous to sleep on your belly but it may be uncomfortable.

Triple and quad occupancy cabins are subject to availability, and require a deposit for each person in the cabin. Triple and quad cabin rates are for third and fourth passengers in the cabin traveling with two full-fare paying passengers. Handicapped cabins are also subject to availability, and are very limited in number. These cabins are usually reserved by individuals who are confined to a wheelchair.

This depends on the composition of your group and how well they know each other ! We have 9 separate dwellings (‘driftwood palaces’) including the gazebo by the pool and the tree house, hence we can accommodate 18 adults in complete privacy with each of the couples in a king-size, four-poster bed. There are however 13 four-poster double beds and 2 double ‘day beds’ (which can certainly be used to sleep on) across these 9 palaces.

There are 8 bedrooms, and a total of 9 beds. We recommend a maximum of 16 guests, to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and not to apply undue burden on the staff. However, if there are more people in your party, arrangements can be made to accommodate them. Our larger villa, Villa Las Palmeras, is right next door, and can accommodate an additional 34 people. It has 12 bedrooms, five levels, air-conditioning, heated pool, rooftop palaba bar and terrace, and full staff.

We do have a limited number of rooms with one person jet tubs, but we do not have rooms or suites with hot tubs or Jacuzzis.

All the rooms on the Palace on Wheels are the same size and have attached bathrooms / toilets. Passengers in the room do not share the bathrooms with anyone else. The interior decor changes in the coaches but as far as the rooms are concerned, all Single, Double and Triple occupancy rooms, they are the same size.

There are four comfortable bedroom-like rooms designed for sleep studies. Each room has a double bed, TV, and a private bath.

I wasn't going to write this until I'm sure that I'm on the right track but here goes (I hope I don't have to eat my words - there's not much else I can eat at the moment! :) ) Anyway, I've been sick for about 3 1/2 years with extreme weight loss, sickness, nausea, unable to eat anything sweet including all fruit, and not much carbohydrate or large amounts of food. For the last few months have been afraid to eat hardly anything, as my bowel and stomach have such a bad reaction.

Each of our staterooms has one oversize full bed which comfortably sleeps two adults. There is also a pull down twin overhead which is ideal for children or close family.

The primary difference between lodge style and suite and cottage accommodation is the suite and cottage accommodation has a living room area separate from the bedroom area. Suite and cottage accommodation also has a deck and a vanity area in the living room. Lodge style (hotel style) accommodation is just one room with a bathroom, no sitting room or living room exists with this type of room.

We have three suites, the Anniversary Suite, the Veranda, and the Studio. The Honeymoon Suite and the Country Cottage also each have a couch for relaxing.

Hotels, ger camps, quaint inns, homestays and camping. On a given trip you may stay in a number of different accommodations. In Mongolia, when ger camps are available we use them, when not we use homestays or vehicle supported camping. In Tibet the camping is quite rugged with several days where we are traveling only with pack horse support. In Uruguay we stay in comfortable hotels and local inns.

Lots of writers are attracted to writing because it's solitary. But unless you have an agent to handle your business dealings, you'll have to be able to communicate with the people who will publish you, at the very least. And your people skills are especially important if you will work in journalism, edit anthologies, or do books or articles that involve interviewing others.

Sleep needs to be a health priority. It affects every aspect of your day-to-day living. If you can't say "yes" to sleep, make sure to make the most out of the sleep you get. Exercise regularly ? people who exercise a few times a week sleep better than people who don't. Also, avoid caffeine, alcohol and tobacco products late in the day. All can interfere with sleep. You need to create a restful sleep environment so the sleep you get is restorative and uninterrupted.
