A Nitec graduate applying for part-time Higher Nitec courses will enjoy equal standing as GCE 'O' applicants who met the entry requirement for Higher Nitec courses.

To benefit more from the course, applicants are advised to apply for courses they are eligible in. However, applicants who do not meet the entry requirement can sit for an Entrance Test conducted by ITE at a fee of $10. The Entrance Test is conducted throughout the year. If you are an ISC in Electrical Servicing graduate with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (inclusive of CCA bonus), you can apply for progression to the full-time Nitec in Electrical Technology, Electronics and Mechatronics courses. Applicants for these courses must be free from colour blindness. If you are an ISC in Mechanical Servicing graduate with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.
