Each unit requires an average of eight hours self-study per week. Study Periods 1 and 2 run for a period of twenty weeks and Study Period 3 for ten weeks. For the purpose of determining how much time off work to allow for people undertaking the program, our educational consultants advise that the eight hours of self study can be considered equivalent to four hours of lectures plus four hours of self study.

Students who are actively teaching should not take more than two courses in a semester. Two courses in a semester (6 credits) translates to roughly 10-15 hours of work each week, give or take a few hours depending on projects and assignments. Most students log in every other day to check on assignments, etc. At times students will need to set aside blocks of time to be online (a block can mean up to 90 minutes in one sitting).

a general guide our full time students normally have an average of 20 hours per week 'contact time' (i.e. taught sessions) spread over three days. You will also be expected to complete further hours of independent study. Some of this study requires you to be in College using facilities and resources or project work with other students.

About 35-40 hours per week in term time of which about 12-16 are contact hours. As our courses are demanding and are unashamedly aimed at able students, applicants are advised to consider the workload of our degrees as that for a full-time job.

All courses are timetabled and students are required by immigration regulations to attend at least 15 hours per week as a full time student. Our courses are designed generally for 16 hours per week on average, which is inclusive of classroom teaching and tutorials. Some courses e.g. Computer Studies require students to undertake practical work, which adds additional hours for the individual student concerned.

About 2 hours per week, depending upon many factors: How quickly your student types, if they need to read every single link in each lesson in order to understand key concepts, and how dedicated they are at staying on-task and getting their work completed in a timely fashion. The average number of hours is 2. The good news is that students are able to break apart those hours however they please across the course of a week.

There really is no "minimum requirement". Ideally, we like a commitment of 2-hours per week, but if you can only do half that, we'll take it! Most of our volunteers adopt a shift on a particular day (or night) of the week and stick to it. What is most important to us is consistency, so we know when someone is (or isn't) going to be there. If you can only come in every other week, that's fine... as long as we know about it.

The program is full-time, five-days-a-week. You must be available to attend classes Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

All freshmen will meet a set number of study hours. Every semester following the first semester of the freshman year, the number of hours will be based on the student's GPA. The intensive German course has 20 units (á 45 min.) plus 5 units Conversation, Interactive Computer lessons, Film-Workshop per week. In addition to this we offer individual lessons. (Top of Page)

Your hours will vary depending upon what company you choose to internship with. During the course of a the one credit hour internship course you will be required to work a total of 80 hours. The average is ten hours a week. However, you may work more than that to complete the internship sooner.

Depending on the ship's itinerary, employee work hours may vary between 40-70 hours per week. Each employee is expected to work while the ship is at sea as well as working during some port time hours.

Students may work a maximum of 30 hours per week while school is in session (40 hours/week during break periods). However, on average, students work approximately 10-15 hours per week.

The AIT program shall consist of 2,000 hours of continuous training in a facility as prescribed in 18 VAC 95-20-330 to be completed within 24 months. The board may reduce the required hours for applicants with certain qualifications as prescribed in Regulation 18 VAC 95-20-310.B.C.

Skin can become irritated after using a pediculicide. This can result in the formation of desquamated epithelial cell plugs (DEC) which people often mistake for nits. This causes many caregivers to overtreat with chemicals thus continuing the cycle. If you are not sure if you are seeing nits, take a suspected nit on a hair shaft to your doctor and have him confirm the diagnosis by looking at the suspected nit under a microscope.
