IBackup for Windows provides two methods for restoring the database backup file (*.dmp) into your MS SQL Server.

One is to use the Backup item on the System Menu while logged on as the administrator. This will create a file in IntraVUE's dbBackup folder with an automatically generated filename based on the date and time. The second way is to choose Backup from the Server Administration Tool. Using this method you can specify the folder and filename to use. NOTE: The IntraVUE Backup function only backs up the IntraVUE database, not any linked documents and images

If you do not disable the Save the backup definition file option in the Options tab then your backup settings included the Job list will be copied to the destination disk. You can manually restore this file into the folder where you have installed the program and then run GRBackPro.

Moneydance can be set up to save backup files, which are just regular .md save fiels with the file extension "chopped off" to keep you from confusing them with your regular files. To open such a backup file, simply rename it so it ends with .md and you'll be able to access your transaction history as it existed in MD at the time of the backup Export your data to an XML file using the File->Export menu and choosing the Moneydance XML option. Edit the exported file in a text editor.

Install LapBack on the computer you want to restore you files to. You must insert the same serial code which you used on the computer you backed up from. If you used encryption password during backup you must use the same password to decrypt your backup. When you have started LapBack you must select your backup area (the area you stored your backup) in Settings --> Path settings. If you stored your backup on a drive you select "To drive" and the letter for the drive where you stored your backup.

After running upgrade.php get the message "It doesn't look like you've installed WP yet. Try running install.php."

You may use the Window's Scheduler to automatically backup the database or you may use another program capable of executing DOS command line programs. IntraVUE uses MySQL as its database program. By default MySQL is installed at c:\mysql. For a default installation the following command will create a backup file. When used by the Scheduler or other program you may or may not wish to change the name of the backup each time. Notes: 1) using the suffix .
