Cetol 1 is flexible and allows the wood to breath, yet repels water so that it beads on the surface (very important in protecting the wood. Cetol 1 also has a fungicide to help protect it against fungal growth (important in humid or coastal climates) as well as contains a UV inhibitor that protects the wood from graying due to exposure to the sun. It does not crack, chip, blister or peel, and will help prevent "checking" of the wood (term used to describe when the grain raises up).

Cedar can sometimes be difficult to stain…it has a lot of natural oils, or tannins, in it. We recommend using a fairly new product from DEFY that is especially formulated for use on cedar…DEFY Deck Stain for Hardwoods. It also works well on redwood and mahogany decks.

Yes, one coat of Cetol SRD can be used on fences. It can be brushed, rolled, or sprayed on. If sprayed or rolled, it should be back brushed.

That's an opinion call, but if you do, you will have to do it again every year. We recommend letting it grey naturally and washing it 2 or 3 times/year with Sunlight dishwashing soap to keep it clean and pollution-free.

Sure can! We can change your deck's color and look from red to blue. This is only available in staining products.

Sikkens recommends the use of 100% acrylic or urethane caulk to be used with our products. We do not offer endorsements of any particular brand of caulk. Many caulk companies make different colors in their caulk. We recommend you test some of the colors to see how closely they match the color of the applied Sikkens product.

We suggest allowing the wood to weather naturally for at least 3 to 6 months before considering paint or stain.

Nevin offers countertops constructed of Corian®, Colorlith®, stainless steel, epoxy resin, and post-formed high-pressure plastic laminate. There is no single material best suited for all departments. Corian® is the material of first choice for workstations; Colorlith® is recommended in departments that require high heat resistance; stainless steel is preferred in wet departments.

If the pressure treated lumber is brand new…let it weather for six months, or so to dry out, clean it and then treat it with DEFY Deck Stain for Hardwoods. If it is older and weathered, it will be much more porous. In that case, after properly cleaning it, treat it with DEFY Epoxy Fortified Wood Stain. The best way is always going to be to use a brush.

The best type of Stain is the one that penetrates the outer fibre of the log, protects it from excessive moisture penetration and still allows the logs to breathe. All stains break down from the Ultraviolet exposure, and an excellent stain will breakdown in a manner where it slowly oxidized into a powder and blows away. When re-coat time comes, you sweep or wash the house and re-coat. If using an excellent stain, you should never have to remove the basecoat of stain.

All of our products are high end. Certain products will do better then others depending on your particular environment or type of wood that you have. If you came to our store looking for a certain brand name then we would suggest sticking with that. When you're looking for a painted-kind-of-look to match you home exterior, or when the deck has been totally neglected, solid stains hide and conceal any cosmetic imperfections that the lumber may have.

All four products can be used in a box stall and or a pipe corral. It really depends on your stall situation and what you are trying to achieve. The following is a brief description of each products uses and benefits. quot;DRY STALL" is a naturally occurring highly absorbent lightweight volcanic aggregate. Due to its porosity, it is an ideal medium for aerating, softening, and draining your soil. Therefore, it came from the earth. It is all natural.

Copper flashing can be used with a cedar roof in most areas, with the exception of areas that are exposed to acid rain areas east of the great lakes. Heating stacks require 1" space. Walls, skylights and windows that are flashed with metal should be closed. Check with your local Building Official regarding this particular application question.

Why is cedar best? The traditional sauna for thousands of years has been made predominately from close grain cedar for many obvious reasons: Cedarwood is soft wood that resists the cracking and splitting caused by the heating up and cooling down in the sauna. No sauna wood lasts longer than cedarwood. Cedarwood contains aromatic oils that are known for their healing and cleansing properties to aid detoxification during the sauna.

For a threshold we recommend either three coats of Cetol DEK or two coats of Cetol DEK Finish. Allow 24 hours in between coats. Cetol 1 and Cetol 23 Plus is a three coat system and is not recommended for a deck. In order to get durability from the product another coat should be applied. Other than removing the product and using a recommended deck system this is the only suggestion we can make. The deck products cannot be used over the Cetol 1 and Cetol 23 Plus.

The interval studies materials are cut paper, or black gesso and white gesso, or black plaka and white plaka. Designer color works well, but it is more expensive, and it is not permanent like the other paint types. ==========

If you are embedding a Type1 font and want to use it for multiple stamps, specify the "FontFile" parameter in the first stamp item (include the full font file path) within your stampfile and the "Font" parameter in subsequent stamp items that use the same font.
