Yes, our 6.5-7” wakeboard tower enclosures will fit many different 6.5” and oversized 6.5” speakers, but not all of them so check the speaker specifications carefully to make sure they will fit with our enclosures. The outside diameter of our enclosures should match up as close as possible to the speaker or speaker grill diameter to get the best possible fit. Remember to check the cutout diameter requirements as well.

Yes, they will fit this tower. We now offer Illusion X brackets that install in between our wakeboard tower speaker enclosures and the Illusion X tower. The enclosures and brackets are pre-drilled with the same 3 hole pattern in the Illusion X tower. Two holes are for the supplied mounting bolts and the other hole is for the speaker cable, thereby eliminating the need for an external speaker terminal.

No, they are not painted unless otherwise specified. They are finished in a high-quality, U.V. protected colored gelcoat, the same gelcoat used with most fiberglass boats today. However, custom painting is available for all our enclosures.

Yes, we can customize our enclosures to fit your specific application. We offer our enclosures with or without clamps, terminals, mounting holes, etc. We offer custom paint and even custom gelcoat colors! Some restrictions apply.

Yes, they will but we do not offer the enclosures pre-drilled at this time. You would need to use the supplied Illusion X brackets as a template to drill the holes in the enclosures.

We now use a universal polished aluminum mounting clamp that will fit towers from 1 7/8"- 2.5" in diameter using the supplied rubber liners. Additional rubber strips can be used for towers smaller than 1 7/8". Our customers have also used PVC piping cut in half and installed around the tower to make the tower mounting diameter larger in order for the clamps to fit properly.

Our 6x9 models are by far the loudest when compared to our 6.5-7" tower speakers. This is primarily due to the fact that these speakers are larger, the enclosures are twice as big (more midbass), and the 6x9 speakers have higher power handling. Our Polk MOMO line is considered our top of the line speaker system. They use external crossovers that we mount inside the enclosure, which does increase the weight of this system for those concerned about weight.

While we have designed many tower speakers for other customers in the past, we feel that traditional broader based cabinets simply perform better. We have yet to be blown away by a conventional tower speaker over a wide baffled speaker, although the stereo imaging can be better in a tower.

Harbeth have a reputation for sound quality underpinned by the BBC engineering legacy. All Harbeth speakers are first and foremost designed to be used (and are used) as serious professional instruments. There are many beautifully styled skimpy tower speakers (mainly for AV use) but none of them could or would be used by a professional sound engineer demanding the best in sound quality.

technically speaking, any speaker can fit anywhere with some modification. some will work better than others, but anything can be fit anywhere with some hard work. In the dash, you will have a hard time fitting anything other than a 4x6 plate speaker, due to mounting depth concerns, but i have seen small magnet 51/4's fit in there. that said, i don't recommend putting any speaker in the dash as imaging and a proper sound stage become more challenging. in the doors, a good 6.

Dash: The most common replacements are either tweeters or 3.5" coaxial speakers. Tweeter placement can be accomplished by using a metal u-shaped bracket to countersink the tweeter below the dash level. The bracket can be bent or twisted to modify tweeter angle for imaging purposes. Doors: This location is best used for mounting a midrange driver to complement a tweeter.

Basically any 10cm speaker which has nothing protruding out of the cone of the speaker, all tweeters etc must be flush with the front of the cone otherwise they will foul the grey plastic covers (which have been removed to gain access) preventing them from being refitted, Fiat supply ugly looking replacements to get around this problem instead of supplying the right speakers to start off with so do not buy theirs if you can help it.
