Design can aid clean-ability, so well-designed parts with rounded corners, fillets and absence of crevices facilitate cleaning, as do smooth ground welds and polished surfaces. Post-fabrication handling is also important. Scale or slag that forms from welding processes is often removed by the fabricator with a stainless steel wire brush.

Not only do the results tell you the closest shade match, it displays the difference between the closest porcelain shade and the patient's tooth in terms of Lightness (Value), Chroma, and Hue. The laboratory can take these differences into account when selecting the type of restorative material.

All cable/rod display and sign support fittings are made from solid brass- extremely durable. Available in five standard finishes - satin chrome, warm chrome (nickel), black, polished chrome and brass. Special finishes are available on request. Cables are made from galvanized steel (unlike stainless steel, this will not fray, kink or mark easily). Rods are made in stainless steel or brass and treated to create standard finishes.
