Pop3 clients will generally have a paperclip icon. Click on the paperclip and this should allow you to view attachments.

The option to Open Attachment should appear in the menu of a message containing an attachment on the BlackBerry device. If the problem persists, email the board administrator with the exact time the problem occurred, what type of file you were trying to view/upload/download, the filesize, and what type and version of browser you are using.

Answer: The attachments you can view with Outlook Web Access are .txt (text), .jpg, .bmp, .gif, files. Attachments such as .exe cannot be opened in Outlook Web Access. Depending on how you have your browser configured, you may be able to view Word and Excel documents within your browser window. Otherwise you will have the option to download these attachments to your computer to view them.

Outlook Express has a security setting that prevents you from viewing most attachments. To turn it off, open Outlook Express, click on "tools" and then "options." Next select the security tab and uncheck the box that says, "Do not allow attachments ..."

Note: There might be some versions or formats of the attachment types, which are not viewed properly. There are some elements, e.g. images, which are not shown when viewing the attachments. BlackBerry Connect allows you to view but not edit these attachment types.
