The zeolite in solution is a negatively charged molecule with a cage-like structure that is able to trap positively charged hydronium ions. These ions lower the pH or make it more acidic. By eliminating them, all natural Zeolite helps balance the pH to a more neutral, alkaline level.

It is well known that the body fluids of healthy people tend to be more alkaline (high pH) and the body fluids of sick or diseased people are acidic ( low pH).
