We have had two "problems" with the postal service since we began shipping items (since 1997). One was a damaged shipment and we sent a replacement immediately for no charge. The second was a lost CD, that was shipped two days before Christmas. Contrary to popular belief the U.S. Postal Service does a FINE job of making sure packages are sent to the proper destination.

Due to rare occurrences with the postal service, packages can unfortunately get lost. This may be due to an incorrect address or postal issues beyond our control. If your order becomes lost in the mail, we will send you a replacement at no charge. However, you will be held liable for the lost package if it is determined that you have provided us with an incorrect mailing address or if you failed to provide us with a winter/summer address.

From time to time customs does a random inspection of parcels from various sources being imported into the US and other countries. This is part of their routine. They should notify the intended recipient with a letter if the package is held, and they may hold them for a week or more before releasing them.
