Answer: First of all, vanBasco's Karaoke Player will only display the words if the song file you are playing includes them. Files with the .mid extension generally do not contain words. Files that do include lyrics are usually renamed to have a .kar extension. Use our MIDI search engine and look for results with .

There are a number of sites that archive song sources. Many of these are dial-up sites, requiring the use of a modem. Please do not ask for technical help with this on the Rialto -- there are sure to be better sources of this information close to you. Answer: One way to add more songs to vanBasco's Karaoke Player is to download some from the Internet. Karaoke files can be found using our MIDI search engine, for instance. When you have found a website offering Karaoke songs, you need to download the Karaoke files to a directory on your hard disk first. This is done by right-clicking the linked Karaoke file in you web browser and selecting "Save as...".

We do not have the lyrics available in a format that can be (e)mailed. If the lyrics are not found in the CD jewel case insert, you can try looking at other websites such as A-Z Lyrics Universe, LyricSearch.Net or Leonie's Lyrics Page or Lady Mafia's Lyrics Connection. Please be advised that Kamikaze Records has not verified the accuracy of the lyrics found on these websites.

The Text Window (the black area in the lower left) shows the lyrics that ought to be synchronized with the music. If you're starting a brand new project, this window will be empty and completely black until you import lyrics or type in text directly. There are two methods to input lyrics into a new project. Input them by hand (typing) or importing a TEXT (*.txt) file into the lyrics editor. Both methods are described below.

Write the ALC file into mp3 files and Visual MP3 can then recognize the edited mp3 files automatically. It will not make the mp3 files unplayable by other mp3 players. You can specify the ALC file for MP3 record. You just need to select the to-be-specified mp3 record. Click the Edit button on the toolbar and choose the ALC file in the popup dialog box.

U2 doesn't announce the songs they intend to play in advance. That said, we recommend you familiarize yourself with all of U2's back catalog, including the first album, Boy.

Lyrics for songs from Jekyll can be found in the liner notes for the albums on which they appear. This is true for all of the English-language recordings of the show.

We do not supply lyrics as they are protected by copyright and we would have to make an additional charge for this. Lyrics to most popular songs can be found for free by using a search engine such as www.google.com and typing in the words lyrics + song name.

Well, of course you don't have to. But if your collection is a mixture of say Spanish and English songs, maybe you'd like to be able to sort them by language. It would make it a whole lot easier to create mix-tapes in just one language. The built-in language analysis works on two levels: First it looks at the lyrics you may have stored in iTunes. If you haven't done that, you might want to look them up using the Google Lyrics button on the Lyrics pane of the Get Info dialog.

Dan: I usually write the first couple of lines of music and lyrics at the same time. Sometimes a whole chorus with music and words at the same time. Then I sort of continue writing words over a period of an hour or once in awhile it takes me a few weeks to finish. The lyrics I've written that I like the most are those about somebody I know and me -- like what's gone on between me and a friend or girlfriend or wife, or a problem somebody's having. Always about something real.

These are unreleased songs which Damien sometimes plays live. Look out for them on future releases. Please don't ask me for recordings of them as I can't help you.

Key in or play in your melody. Open the Score window. Click the 'A' part-button from the buttons right below the toolbox. Right below that you'll now see a.o. a 'lyrics' partbox-object. Drag the 'lyrics' object to right below the note where you want your lyrics to start (the top of the window where normally the menubar is will turn blue-green and have the text "insert lyric"). Type in the lyrics: hit tab (and not return) to move from one note to the next

The lyrics to Frank's songs can be found in the liner notes for the albums on which they appear. This is true for all of the English-language recordings of Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel and The Civil War.
