You can either send in or bring to the office a copy of your handicap placard (both front and back), the handicap placard registration and your driver's license or I.D. card. The cost of the citation will be reduced to $5.00 dollars. If you do not have a handicap placard, you will either have to pay the citation or request a court date to appear before a judge.

Yes. Handicap Parking is available on the airport grounds. Space is limited. Overflow will be parked in the VIP Parking area. Please display your state authorized handicap hanger while approaching the airport for access to the handicap ticket gate and parking area. Those requiring handicap parking should access the airport from Highway 51, turn onto Airport Road, signage and security personnel will direct you to the designated parking area.

You can easily teach the program at your own school or facility - just make sure it’s accessible! Or, once you have successfully implemented the Defense-Ability program at your own school or facility, then you can approach a local Rehab Facility where the availability of students and space should not be any problem. Remember, the majority of Rehab facilities will not only welcome the program with open arms - they will get you the students - plenty, and many times more than you can handle.

You must be a resident of the Town of Amherst. You may pickup a Handicap parking permit application at the: The application is filled out by you and your doctor. A drivers license or picture ID is required. If it is a renewal application, the old permit must be turned in.
