Our measurements are given in stem thickness first followed by internal diameter/length eg.: 1.6 x 12mm. Our rings are always measured internally. Straight and curved barbells are always measured between the balls. On curved barbells (eg., belly bars) measure the shortest distance between the balls along the inside of the curve. Usually a matter of individual custom fit, some piercings do have "standard" sizes which work for most people, and often there is a minimum size. The look is only part of what makes a piercing work for you. It must function properly as well. Jewellery which is not the right size can cause healing problems. Consult PdR for advice.

The first step is to determine how much lumber you’ll dry in a year. Then figure your average drying time for each of the species you’ll be drying, and you can calculate the size kiln you need from there. For example: you need to dry 500,000 board feet of oak per year. Fresh off the saw, oak takes about 28-30 days to dry, so you’ll be able to do 12 loads in a year. Each load will need to be 42,000 board feet to give you the 500,000 board feet you need for the year.

A professional valuation is an important safeguard if your jewellery is lost, stolen or damaged for many reasons. It provides proof of ownership in the happy event that the jewellery is recovered. Insurance companies are unlikely to provide full compensation for an expensive piece of jewellery unless you can prove its true value. A valuation also gives you a comprehensive description of the item, which is invaluable if you decide to have the piece remade.

Our standard sizes are in 18-inch (45cm) increments. They are 18, 36, 54, & 72 inches (45, 90, 137, 182 cm). The 72" size works well on full size trucks. The 54" unit was designed for compact trucks like the Dodge Dakota, Chevy Blazer, Toyota's, and Nissan's. The 36" Power Bar fits most aircraft tugs. We can build them any size up to 24 feet (7.2 m). The general rule of thumb in aquarium keeping is to have no more that one inch of fish per gallon of water. Thus, if you had a twenty gallon tank (with no substrate or rocks to diminish the total water volume), you could have five 4-inch fish. Weight distributing is based on the amount of loaded tongue weight the trailer has. To purchase the correct size weight distributing hitch (WDH), you will need to first load the trailer as you would tow it down the road and then have the tongue weighed. You can weigh the trailer tongue by using a bathroom scale or taking it to your trailer dealer to have the tongue placed on a tongue scale.

The smallest size we carry is 6 5/8. The largest size is 8. We will always carry core products in full size runs -- 6 5/8 through 8. Unfortunately, our vendors do not always make "Limited Edition" styles in full size runs, so they may be unavailable in smaller and/or larger sizes. We are always working with our vendors to expand size ranges offered.

Below is a very rough guide to the kind of sizes you may expect your piercing to be. However, if you are unsure please measure your piercing with either some vernier callipers or a ruler. Earlobes/rims - if wearing 'normal' ear piercing jewellery usually 0.6mm - 1mm stem thickness, if wearing barbells or body rings without stretching usually 1.2mm - 1.

I used to work really large. When the art was reduced to be printed, it tightened up and really looked great. I now tend to work roughly to size. Since I finish all my art with a computer and Photoshop, bigger sizes equal more work for me. An illustration that is larger than my scanner bed requires multiple scans that later have to be pieced together. When I work “to size” and can usually get the scan in one take and save myself a whole lot of trouble.
