the files can be large, please burn them to a CD. If they are in 72-dpi JPEG format you can also email them directly to us. Due to the variations of different screens and individual computer settings, as wel as the quality of the transparencies, colors may not look 'true' to the actual work. A screen will never replace viewing the artwork in real life!

Yes, we do accept digital camera files. Some cameras perform better in certain lighting conditions, so not all digital camera files are accepted. 10MP camera files and above are accepted. 8MP camera files are accepted only on a case-by-case basis. Almost all digital camera files need to be optimized to meet our requirements. Please see Digital Submission Requirements for guidance. If you have digital files send them. If not we will scan the slides, or you can have a local service bureau scan them, and send the file on a 'Zip' disc or CD. (PC or MAC)

We accept a wide variety of digital and non-digital formats. We prefer digital since they can be processed more quickly. The digital file format is best determined by content of your design and program which generated it, and are discussed in more detail below.

Yes. We mainly use PCs, but we support most cross-platform graphics files. If your document contains text, please make sure you convert your fonts to vector paths or export them in a vectorized Postscript (.eps and .ps), or Adobe Acrobat® (.pdf) formats.

You will receive a copy of the basic digital files once your album is complete. You may make as many copies of these as you wish for personal use only. Remember that these are the originals, and do not include effects like black and white, soft focus, selective color. We recommend www.mpix.com for reprints.

We offer many options for the transfer of files. The Internet has proven to be the most efficient method for most of our customers. Files can be sent as an email attachment, through your web-based browser (i.e., Internet Explorer) at our website, or through an FTP program such as Fetch.

Files (up to 20MB compressed) may be emailed to output@austingraphics.com. Please include all important information about your project. For larger files, please use our FTP server. You will need FTP client software such as SmartFTP, Fetch, Cyberduck, etc., to connect.
