How Does vSat work?
faq'svSat satellite products are a stand alone solution requiring no traditional internet connection method. A connection via a LAN port on the vSat subscribers computer is made to the Sky Edge decoder which is connected to the satellite dish. Internet requests are made by the subscriber bouncing of an orbiting satellite Bordernet's earth station hub. The hub then delivers the internet request back to the subscriber at broadband speed.
