MPLAB's Watch window interprets all floating-point variables ('float' or 'double') as 32 bit values unless you manually change the properties for each one. Since our PICC compiler uses 24 bits for 'float', and also for 'double' unless you explicitly specify otherwise, this means all floating point values displayed will appear wrong. To correct the display, right-click on the variable name in the Watch window and select Properties, then change its size to 24 bits. Back to top

There are the environment variables described here, but the most frequently used are $P4PORT and $P4CLIENT. In addition, p4 set shows some entries hidden [in the Windows registry, I believe] that can be set using p4 set -s P4CLIENT=stella.newclientname To view this internal registry, type p4 set (with no arguments). If p4 client -o works, then $P4CLIENT is probably set correctly; read the output closely to make sure.

Every user session that is started by MiniVend automatically creates a variable set for the user. Yes they can. There are two ways to let Dapper know about input variables. First, if you start your Dapp creation with a page to which you would regularly insert the input variable (e.g. Google search page), you will see a checkbox next to any available input field when you hover over it. Check the relevant checkboxes and they will be regarded as the input variables. Alternatively, you can define GET variables using the "Advanced" feature in the "Save a Dapp" stage.

The only variables allowed are latitude, longitude, depth and time. It also only allows one data type (for instance, if a file had both temperature and density on a grid, only one of those data types could be saved). If the file is in column form then the program will ignore them, if they make up a dimensions (if the data changes along latitude, longitude, and this other dimensions that is neither depth nor time) then the conversion will create faulty data.
