The four wires consist of two 120-volt "hot" lines, one neutral and one ground. The main difference is that the Pro/Tran® Series can easily be either hard-wired to a remote power inlet box or cord-connected to the generator, whereas the Gen/Switchâ„¢ was designed to be only cord connected.
