Consider your heavy bag as your opponent. With that in mind, the bag should be high enough to deliver a blow to the "head", so the top of the bag should be about level with the top of your head. If you have a very short bag, you may need to adjust this height somewhat. Unfortunately, this is normal. The combination of your punches and gravity are causing the contents of the bag to settle to the bottom. The best and maybe only option you have, is to purchase an outer cover for your bag.

The Heavy Bag station can support up to at least a 300 pound bag. Depending on how well they are secured, our heavy bag wall and ceiling mounts can support the same.

They are surprisingly lightweight and can be hung in a matter of minutes -- even our largest mirrors only weigh a total of about 7 or 8 pounds; the small mirrors weigh only 2 or 3 lbs. We solder extra-strong copper brackets into the back of the mirror (one on each side), to which we connect twisted-strand wire capable of holding up to 75 lbs. This allows the mirror to hang with a simple picture hook, in the same way you would hang a framed photograph or painting.

We recommend that the bag rest in the lumbar region of your back just above your bum. However, try out different heights to find your most comfortable position

Our modern light weight training gliders weigh about 50 pounds and with just a little bit of wind, they weigh nothing at all.

A double-end bag does not swing as much. Many people prefer a double-end bag for kicking. Some also prefer one for punching--especially if they don't have a partner to hold the bag. The shock-cord that attaches the bottom of the bag to the floor can always be removed to allow the bag to swing freely.

It depends on user preference. Proponents of low hang points say it's more like a free flight (unpowered) harness, and this is only somewhat true--having to balance 45+ pounds of motor/fuel will never allow it to be very much like free-flight. Some say that low hang points allow more weight shift control, and this may be true, but weightshift ability is more a matter of the relative position of the hang points and the machine/pilot's center of gravity (CG).

Nearly 70% of the finished products that come off our line are either hang tagged or poly bagged and sometimes both. We will even go as far to hangar shirts as they come down the line if necessary.

You want to have a bag that is sufficiently heavy to not move around too much while you are pummeling it. For the average person, a bag in the range of 70-100 pounds should be heavy enough. The covering really depends on your budget and expected use. A leather bag will last longer than either a synthetic or canvas bag, but is more than twice the price. For the home user or commercial club that is unsure how much use the bag will get, we suggest a synthetic bag.

Different hammock lengths (ring to ring) will require different instructions. We can only make recommendations and you will have to tweak the installation to suit you. If your hammock is 13 feet long you will want a space approximately 15 feet apart with a foot of chain or rope at each end to adjust the hammock up or down from the ground. The hammock hooks that you hang the hammock from should be at least 4 to 5 feet off the ground.

Hanging your set at the right height makes all the difference for comfortable viewing. In general, there are two schools of thought: If you will be watching the TV while sitting on the couch, then the center of the TV should be at eye level when sitting up straight on the couch. However, this could make the TV seem low when standing next to it.

A chandelier that is hung in a foyer should have the bottom at least 8 feet above the floor. If the ceiling is very high the chandelier may be hung higher than 8 feet. If there is a window above the door thru which the chandelier will be seen from the outside, the chandelier should be hung centered in relation to the window.

This depends a lot on the conditions in which it is flown, but flights in excess of 300 miles in length and altitudes of well over 20,000 ft. MSL have been recorded. More typically, pilots in the summer frequently achieve altitudes of 5,000 to 10,000 ft AGL and fly for over 100 miles.

The recommended distance from the ground for placement of the tree hook is between 4 and 5 feet. If your supports are closer than the above recommended distance, the tree hooks should be raised.

The poles are made from high quality carbon fibre which is a very light but extremely strong material. As it is so strong and durable we can easily control the poles without too much friction or bend. When working on heights in excess of 40 feet we always work in pairs with one person checking the terrain.

To hit the speed bag, all you really need is to wrap your hands well with a pair of hand wraps. This should provide sufficient protection for using the speed bag. To add more of a workout to your speed bag routine, you can use a pair of speed bag gloves that have weighted palms, but they are not necessary to protect your hands. So to hit the heavy bag, now all you need is a pair of heavy bag gloves. Be sure to wear your hand wraps when hitting either bag.

I usually hook the enema bag at the same height as my doorknob, which is 2-3 feet above the bathroom floor. Remember, the higher the bag is, the stronger the water flow. If you want a comfortable enema, ensure the water isn't too hot or cold (around 99 degree Fahrenheit), and that the water flow is just right.

It is always prudent to build in as much of a safety factor as possible. Remember that picture hanging hardware is hidden behind the picture, so using "too big" a hook or "too heavy" a wire will not be detrimental visually.

Fasteners are available that easily drive into Ytong AAC walls and are capable of securing heavy items. These fasteners are similar to standard concrete "spread-fast" anchors. Since Ytong AAC is less dense than standard concrete, fasteners can be driven in with a hammer. Specialty drills are not required. Unlike stud walls, fasteners can be placed anywhere in Ytong AAC walls. No need to explore to find studs for hanging heavy objects.
