About EVS Apparels the Manufacturer and Brand
Knee braces are meant to provide the user with a level of protection for both healthy & pre-injured knees. The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is the most commonly injured knee ligament. The ACL controls how far forward the tibia moves in relation to the femur and if the tibia moves too far the ACL can tear. The ACL is also the first ligament that becomes tight when the knee is straight so if the knee is forced past this point, or hyperextended, the ACL can also become torn.

More elaborate ankle supports with plates to add stiffness are also available. Like the AB04, lace-up type ankle supports with rigid supports are great for mild to severe sprains.
