Working with epoxy is not difficult but like many other things in life its gets easier the more you have tried it. Normally most epoxy suppliers have some lecture of their product and how it's used. If you do not have any experience with epoxy and fiberglass we recommend that you start out with a design where you only need to use fiberglass tape. It's much easier to work with fiberglass tape compared to fabric and it's easier to get a good-looking result with the tape.

Due to the inherent bonding qualities of our epoxies, application on fiberglass is possible. Fiberglass linings need to be scourged with heavy grade sandpaper or grinding disks to provide more mechanical bonding strength. Some of our DIY clients have applied our product on successfully on fiberglass. By the time of writing this webpage, the oldest fiberglass epoxy-coated swimming pool was in service for 12 months without any signs of deterioration.

You can use fiberglass instead of the provided polyester skin, but we don't recommend it. While fiberglass requires less maintenance, it is actually more fragile than the skin that comes with the kit. The polyester skin will flex when it comes in contact with another object, whereas the fiberglass may crack and require extensive repair at home. If the polyester skin does get a hole in it, it is easy to do a field fix and continue on your way.

They do love to dig, and also shed, so if you want to judge them on those characteristics, yes, they can be messy. However, their double coat seems to repel dirt to a certain degree, and they have less "doggy odor" than most other breeds. Also, an Anatolian should have tight flews with a correspondingly "dry" mouth, so drooling is seldom a problem. If you want a really neat dog, though, the Anatolian is not for you.

It will stick to your fingers. Use a little olive oil to stop it from sticking to your hands. It helps to oil the work surface and the tools a little too.

Cloth diapering should never be stinky. If your diapers and covers smell bad as soon as they get used, then you have a problem. Usually the problem is detergent buildup. Occasionally the problem is that they are not getting clean enough. Smell them when they are wet out of the washer and warm out of the dryer. If they are stinky, then they are not getting cleaned enough. If they smell fine but stink as soon as they are used, then they have detergent buildup.

You can - but you will loose all adhesive strength. At cone 04 what you have left is a white brittle material that is the alumina and silica in the epoxy, left after the resins burn off. It is meant to be used as a post-firing repair material.

Helpful Hints For Resins on page 3 of the Product Bulletin Introduction To Fiberglassing gives a tip on how to extend the working time of a mixed resin. Also, look under Product Information section as gel time is present for many of the listed resins. Remember that higher temperature means a shorter working time.

Fiberglass is a cloth made out of thin glass threads. It is used to reinforce plastics and other materials. FIBERLAND uses fiberglass to manufacture all our plastic products. Therefore the correct name for the material we use is FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic), although our products are said to be made of fiberglass.
