Can I export XML from QuarkXPress with Atomik Roundtrip?

products & atomik & overview & benefits
Yes. However for content to be exported from QuarkXPress using Atomik Roundtrip, the content you want to extract must have been brought into QuarkXPress from an XML document in the first place. How does Atomik Roundtrip handle special font sets such as Wingdings?

products & atomik & overview & benefits
XML documents do not generally contain font information, as XML documents are concerned with describing content structure rather than presentation or styling. By setting up templates or Atomik Roundtrip rulesets for your XML Elements, the XML content will assume the chosen font as it is imported into QuarkXPress. Similarly, exporting XML from QuarkXPress only exports the content, not the styling information.

What's the difference between Atomik Roundtrip and Atomik 3.0?

products & atomik & overview & benefits
Atomik 3.0 automates the extraction of completed QuarkXPress print documents into XML. Atomik Roundtrip imports XML into QuarkXPress and can also re-export any changes to the imported XML content, thereby 'roundtripping' the XML. Atomik Roundtrip does not export XML from legacy QuarkXPress documents. The two products therefore address different workflow requirements but can be used independently or in combination as customers require.
