Assembling a Solexx Greenhouse is takes just a few readily available tools. You will need a screwdriver, variable speed drill, sharp knife or utility knife, tape measure, step ladder, GE Silicon-2 caulk, caulking gun, clear PVC glue and a level. I am interested in your Solexx polycarbonate covering. How do you install it? Our specially formulated Solexx greenhouse panels are actually a polyethylene blend.

We provide a hardware pack in all of our units that include all the necessary tools to assemble the product.

You'll need a 3/8" wrench (preferably socket wrench) to assemble the bed. In addition, it is best to have an extra person available to assist.

The 8' units can usually be assembled in a weekend or two using common household tools. Much of the greenhouse can be put together with one person.

A team effort is best when assembling the greenhouse kit. Using simple household tools, smaller greenhouses can usually be assembled within a weekend. Precise framing alignment is easy with custom steel fittings. The flexible greenhouse covering goes on easily. Galvanized, self-tapping screws with neoprene washers provide secure panel attachment. Slip the U-Trim into place and you're ready to enjoy your greenhouse.

The major components of the Greenhouse Kits are panelized to ensure an easy and sure fit. The panelized sections are joined by screws. A power screwdriver, a 6 foot stepladder, and a tape measure are all that is needed for easy assembly.

Assembly is only required for our beds. All our beds are supplied disassembled to minimize shipping costs. Each bed will come with written assembly instructions and a list of the tools (usually just a hammer and a 3/8 inch socket spanner for the Round Hill bed) required for assembly. Each part is numbered. Bamboo dowels are included to pin the joints together.

All Bell'O? products include complete assembly instructions, and include all fasteners and tools needed. Average do-it-yourself skill is all that is required.

No tools are required to assemble the raised beds. However, to set the pins flush with the top of the planter, a hammer (or nearby rock) may be needed in order to pound the pins into very hard ground. More often, though, the pins can be pushed flush by hand, or left exposed a few inches for use with a shade cloth or greenhouse covering (see below).

No. Many orchids thrive under normal household temperatures. For best results, provide nighttime temperatures of 60 to 65?F and daytime temperatures 75 to 85?F. Other orchids, such as Cymbidiums, Miltonias and Odontoglossums, tend to prefer cool temperatures. For best results, provide nighttime temperatures of 50 to 55oF and daytime temperatures of 60 to 80oF. Place the plants near a cool window in the home. In temperate regions, the plants may be grown outside under a protected patio.

A good quality Carbide Tipped Triple Chip saw blade is preferred when cutting Plexiglas. This reduces the amount of chipout on the opposite side of the material and produces a smooth edge. A Router can be used to cut Plexiglas as well. The Router should be at least 1.5 HP or better and with changeable collets for a 0.5" Shank quality 2 flute Carbide bit. This reduces the vibration and chattering when cutting and will produce a more smooth edge.

The ease of assembly is one of the outstanding features of the Sunshine Greenhouse Kit. We offer easy-to-follow assembly instructions with photographs, and an accompanying assembly video to assist our Greenhouse customers. The 6' x 8' model takes approximately 4-6 hours to assemble. The 8'x 12' models takes less than a day for the "non-builder" to complete. The Greenhouse can easily be equipped with a heater for winter use.
