Yes, you can certainly get a CDL... The hard part will be finding a carrier to hire you. If you have a felony you cannot enter Canada without a Minister's Permit, which, I'm told, is not an easy or cheap thing to acquire. Many carriers require that a driver be able to go into Canada, whether they run much of it or not. This is a question people ask all of the time - but unfortunately I have no information on what it takes to get a Minister's Permit.
