School is one of the few places in society that divides us from our peers on the basis of age.Kinma creates a more authentic and traditional social environment where classes are structured in a similar way to that of a family or workplace. In the "community classes" children of different ages, experiences and abilities work together in small groups and engage in learning activities planned with their teacher.

Within a mixed-age format, children are encouraged to teach, collaborate, and help each other. We allow the child to choose his/her own work based on their interest and abilities. We also allow them to formulate their own concepts from self –teaching materials. Yes! I generally recommend that pregnant ladies join the mixed ability classes after their 13th week. Certain postures aren't appropriate or helpful in pregnancy (no lying on the abdomen, no strong twisting or abdominal strengthening or stretching poses), however the majority of poses are very helpful in preparing the body for birth and motherhood.
