There is no single best adjustment setting for your KONI shocks because every driver and vehicle has different preferences for comfort, performance, performance modifications and roads to drive on. For most vehicles, we suggest that new KONI's be installed in the full soft position (the standard setting right out of the box) to take advantage of the balance of ride comfort and handling designed by the KONI ride development engineers.

However, since every browser displays the information provided a little bit differently, we do have preferences, and recommend Firefox. With Mozilla's Firefox browser you can use the keyboard to navigate through the quizzes with ease and speed.

There isn't such thing as a "perfect" dwell setting (if there were then it wouldn't be adjustable). Every marker operates a little differently and every marker requires a bit of tuning to perform well. The input sensitivity setting is a function of amplifier gain. You will want to match it with the output level of whatever is before the amp in the audio chain (i.e. preamps, mixers). For amplifiers with a 0.775V position, this positions corresponds to a 0 dBu level. The 1.4V position corresponds to a +4 dBu level. The 26 dB position is a fixed gain position. The 26 dB position is also the lowest gain position, and will usually work well with output levels of +10 dBu (2.5Vrms and above).

Most performance springs have a higher spring rate than the vehicle's original springs. Since the shock controls the motion of the spring, increased spring rates require more rebound damping for control and that is one of the reasons why KONI's are rebound adjustable (and some are double adjustable).

When starting the game with one peasant only, full speed is best for a short while. After three or four buildings are completed, it is best to slow the game to one notch below that. This makes units more responsive, so it is possible to cast spells, react to attacks, and so forth. If the lag in a game is particularly bad, the speed should be slowed to about the midpoint to reduce the effect of the lag. Note that lag is caused almost entirely by network and modem performance.

There are some side effects of using them though. When active under RISC OS v2.00 and v2.01 discs must be dismounted before being removed from the floppy drive. The ideal setting depends upon the vehicle, and the driver’s tastes. Settings tend to be different on rear wheel drive cars than on front wheel drive cars. Also, settings will vary between drag racing and road performance environments. Test the different adjustments to find the best combination for your vehicle.

This option give the sim permission to adjust your defensive positioning by up to +/- 2 based on the offense of the opposing team. The amount of the adustment is based on the percentage of points the opposing team is scoring from outside vs. inside. For example, if you set your defense to a -2 and the other team is producing a 20 of their 30 total first half points from the perimeter, your defensive positioning would be adjusted to a 0 to come out and help guard the perimeter.
