Instructors are addressed as "Sensei". Sensei is a Japanese title of respect (sort of like "Sir" or "Mister"). It means "teacher" and is literally translated as "before birth" which infers that the instructor is someone older than yourself. In this case we are speaking of "karate age". In other words, an instructor is someone who has more karate experience than yourself.

This is entirely your choice. Some students like to take all their classes with the same teacher, while others enjoy practicing with a variety of teachers. The vast philosophies and practices of yoga have traditionally been passed on from teacher to student, sometimes with a lifetime of study. The whole structure of a "yoga class" is not part of this tradition -- yoga classes are actually quite a new phenomenon in the last half-century.

All new teachers in NB must obtain 2 degrees, one of which is a Bachelor or Education (BEd). You can complete your non-education degree first (eg. BA, BSc, BBA), then proceed to the BEd. This is called the Consecutive Route. Another option is to begin the non-education degree and after 1 or 2 years, apply to the Concurrent BEd Program. You then take both education and non-education courses until the requirements for both degrees are complete.
