The REINSW Residential Vacancy Rate Survey is a monthly survey of members that determines the rate of residential vacancy across NSW in both metropolitan and regional areas. The vacancy rate represents a measure of rental demand for properties in a given area. It is a guide to relative demand for residential properties. Vacancy rates are presented at a state level.

The Job Vacancy Survey (JVS) provides accurate, objective and timely information on the quantity and quality of job vacancies throughout Rhode Island. Job vacancy statistics supply: When combined with other statistics, such as unemployment rates and occupational wage levels, job vacancy data can provide a good indicator of labor market tightness, labor force shortages and the overall health of state and local labor markets.

Currently, the vacancy rate in downtown Gresham is about 7%. We estimate the office space to be less than 5%, with retail space being less than 10%.

Beginning with the 2004 survey round, all eight major metropolitan areas of Louisiana are included in the sample (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Houma, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Alexandria, Shreveport, and Monroe). The 2002 Job Vacancy Survey sampled Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Lafayette, and Shreveport MSAs, and the Balance of the State (meaning all areas outside of those four metropolitan areas were pooled together as one "area" and then sampled).
