Connect your synth's audio output to your soundcard's inputs. In the audio mixer, set one object (channel strip) to be an Input object. I.e. in the object's parameter pane pick the proper entry from the Cha popup, like "Input 1-2" if that's what your synth is connected to. Now when playing the synth, the audio goes into Logic and there can be treated with effects to your liking.

As an example: Antares' AutoTune lets you send MIDI note events to the effect, and have the effect retune your audio track to match the pitches as indicated by the MIDI notes currently played. No, CPS is not a graphic authoring tool, so you can not make VST plugins with an interface (perhaps in the future, who knows!). You can write plugins for CPS in C++, and use them as well in CPS as in an other VST host. You can also run CPS inside VST, which is more convenient of course. Logic has a built-in MIDI driver for SampleCell. In the Environment window, pick the "New > Internal-> DigiDesign SampleCell" menu-item, and then cable a Multi-Instrument to it.
