The desktop storage service has been designed to store work-related data files only. That is files from Word, Excel and similar programs. Large extract files of data which are also stored elsewhere should not be stored, nor should large non-work related graphic files. In particular it is not acceptable to store games, screen-savers and other 'recreational' or personal software.

The usual reason for this is that your password on Windows XP is different to your password on UNIX, or that your password has a euro symbol or pound sign in. If this is the case, follow the instructions here to change your password(s) and then log out and back in again.

When you logon to a public computer in the library using your e-mail username and password you are automatically connected to your student server disk space. Click on My Computer and you will see your disk space listed.

For security reasons this facility has been blocked but you can still access your files using webfolders. The VPN service only supports IP traffic, so servers using IPX are not accessible. Please note that IPX and Appletalk are being phased out across campus in favour of an IP only network.

Each student, faculty, and staff member at E&H has a size limitation for file storage on the file server. This limit is 500MB for students and 800MB for faculty and staff. Once this limit is reached you, will be denied access to write any more information to your H: drive.

Enter ftp://username@barney.gonzaga.edu into Internet Explorer's address bar. At the prompts, enter your ZagNet username and password. You can use Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox (not IE 7) to upload and download files from the FTP server! To upload a file, just click and drag the files or folders you want and drop them in the open Explorer window. To download files, click on the file you want downloaded.

If work is either highly confidential or generally of no interest to others then g: drive is the best place for it. All email is stored on a personal G: drive. Otherwise the best place for work is on an H: drive available to a suitable number of people in your department. Managers and Heads of Departments should consider how much data an individual user should store in their own personal area unavailable to others versus storage in a shared area.

Helicobacter pylori (h. pylori) is a certain bacterium that is thought to cause the majority of all peptic ulcers. Peptic ulcers are stomach and duodenal ulcers. In the U.S. over 20 percent of the population under the age of 40 and over 50 percent of the population above the age of 60 are infected with h. pylori. However, that does not necessarily mean that the infected person will also develop a peptic ulcer.

Answer: Recently some laptop users reported they are unable to connect or login to the Trent network now but, it was working prior to taking the machine home. The likely problem is that the machines were updated with XP SP2 over the holidays while they were connected to the users home network. To quickly remedy this problem the user has to go into "Add/Remove Programs" and remove the XP-SP2 update and reboot.

Open Windows Explorer (shortcut is key + e) or Click > Start > My Computer > drive name i.e., (H:, S:). Right-click on the folder from which the files were deleted and select "Salvage Files" - a list of deleted files will appear. Select the file from the list and click the "Salvage File" button - the deleted file will now appear in the folder.

We are using a DC servo motor from Pittman that is capable of very large torque. The model number is 14204S004. Because the worm screw is spring loaded into the worm gear, friction is large and a larger motor was required to overcome the load. described above, there are no clutches or any means to disengage the worm screw from the worm gear. Balance is achieved via an Autostar software routine.

We are very cognizant that pain control is very important for the patient's well being. Medications are provided to control the level of pain. The typical patient, however, requires only Tylenol and occasional Tylenol with Codeine for control of pain.

Generally speaking, we do not want anyone to drive until approximately 30 days after surgery, just to let you get over some of the soreness from surgery without depending on your reaction time while turning the steering wheel or having to brake. Sometimes people can start driving earlier, but we certainly do not want patients who are on narcotics or pain pills to drive. We suggest when you start to drive, you drive in an area that is very quiet so you can get your "driving legs" back.

Yes, e-mail and your home directory both take up space on District servers. Server space is limited, and overloading the servers will slow the network down for everybody.
