My modem doesn't connect, how can I fix this?

Go into the Device Manager and remove all items listed under "Modems". To remove an item in Windows XP and Windows 2000, select the item, click the Action menu, choose Uninstall. To remove an item in Windows 98 and Windows ME, select the item and click Remove. If the installation asks you for the drivers point the installation to drivers.
