Microsoft has confirmed that there is a software flaw in Internet Explorer with Content Advisor enabled. This will be resolved with a future patch from Microsoft; however, there are two immediate options for solving this issue: Go to Tools in your Internet Explorer browser and click on Internet Options. The Options window will open. If you do not wish to disable the Content Advisor, another option is to use another, more secure browser called Mozilla Firefox.

Users are able to reach the SpamCop site and parse/report small emails, but when trying to submit a large spam through the website form they get a time-out error after clicking the "parse" button. This is a problem experienced by users with firewalls. It may be a personal hardware/software firewall you have employed or, there may be a firewall on your ISP's network "protecting" you that you are not necessarily aware of.

You can either use firewalled mode (Network preferences) or you can forward your incoming port (OpenNap preferences) to your firewalled machine.

If you are being redirected to another page when trying to log into WebCT, you probably have spyware or adware on your computer. Spyware is a type of software that sends information from your computer to other sources, from the websites your browse to potentially information you type on the keyboard, such as passwords and credit card numbers. For this reason, spyware jeopardizes the security of your machine.

While the Log::Log4perl init() method typically takes the name of a configuration file as its input parameter like in Log::Log4perl->init( "/path/mylog.conf" ); The configuration as shown defines a logger of the root category, which has an appender of type Log::Log4perl::Appender::File attached. The line log4perl.logger = ERROR, FileApp doesn't list a category, defining a root logger. Compare that with log4perl.logger.Bar.

The method used to log into Webmail varies according to whether you have Windows 9x, Windows NT/2000/ME, or Windows XP. Basically, if you find a text box asking for a domain, type in ASC. If you don't find a Domain text box prompt, type in username@alfredstate.edu in the Username text box. Obviously make sure to type in your password in the Password text box. Note passwords are case sensitive; usernames are not.

When you watch a story we don't provide a direct link to the movie files on our server. We instead provide a "Click To Play" link that is unique to you, but is only available for a short period of time (roughly 60 seconds). If you do not actually click the "Click To Play" graphic to start watching your chosen story before the link expires you will get the "Click To Play" Timeout error.

We have had reports that a number of Enhanced Internet Banking customers have experienced a "Page unavailable" time out error after submitting a Pay Anyone payment. It has been identified that these customers are using a D-Link ADSL Modem Router. The different models which have been identified are: DSL-502T, DSL-504T and DSL-G604T. To correct the issue please arrange for the firmware to be updated to the latest version.

URLConnection doesn't have a method for this, but you can do it by using multiple threads. Create a timer thread that would just track time and close the connection after your specified timeout period. Check the URLConnection to see if it's got any data flowing through it (calling URLConnection.connected() is probably a sufficient test). The URLConnection should be in a separate thread. That approach will be inefficient for a large number of streams.

First, check if you are running a 2.4.20 kernel. If yes, please apply immediately the patch from https://bugzilla.netfilter.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/showattachment.cgi?attach_id=8! It can be frustrating when you are unable to sign on and use CU@Home - particularly for first time users. What's wrong? There are a few possibilities: a security precaution, CU@Home locks out users who fail to successfully sign on after three (3) invalid attempts. At this point, even a correct member number/password combination will not work if you've been locked out of the system.

For a faster connection, try connecting to your Internet Service Provider at "off peak" hours. For example, America Online is usually busiest between 6pm and 9pm, and during that time their Internet service can be quite slow. Connecting earlier or later may improve your connection speed. SCE FCU tries to keep these occurrences to a minimum, but at times the outage is beyond our control.
