In order to apply to the Illinois MBA, you are required to take the GMAT. You also must take the appropriate test for the other school in which you are enrolled. Joint degree students must apply to the MBA for the term in which they plan to enroll in the MBA. See Joint Degree for more details.

Initially, we advise an international applicant to attach photocopies of his/her score reports with the application, but official reports issued by ETS will be required before full processing of that application will take place. In some instances, the Graduate School will accept certified copies of these reports.

No minimum score is required. The admissions committee is looking for applicants who demonstrate that they can handle graduate level coursework and who will excel in the professional world of public service. Applicants can show evidence of their academic abilities through their undergraduate record, any relevant graduate level courses they've taken, and the GRE. [up]

Barry Law follows a rolling admissions policy. The admissions committee generally begins reviewing files in November until the class if filled. The Admission Committee looks for evidence of the ability to be successful in graduate school. There are no numerical formulas or absolute score/GPA cutoffs used when evaluating applications. All information submitted is carefully considered so that the committee gets a clear picture of the whole person. Grades from past college/university work, test score(s), and letters of recommendation and/or personal statements where required, are taken into consideration.

Effective 2007-2008 applications, the Admissions Committee considers scores earned on Reading Comprehension, Academic Average, Perceptual Ability, and Carving. We will require a DAT Reading Comprehension score. Consequently, you will have to write the English DAT to be eligible for admission to this dental program. It may be possible to satisfy the DAT requirements (both French and English) for all dental schools by writing the English DAT alone.

The admission process is designed to review the overall potential of applicants in order to determine which students will succeed in their studies. It is often true that when considering candidates of roughly equal qualifications, the committee may consider a candidate's school, and particularly the reputation of the specific discipline at that school. This is why it is important to take a challenging course of study that includes advanced courses, directed independent study, and where applicable, research experience.

The GMAT is one of the required parts of an application and the results are an important factor in the admission process. However, there is no certain weight put on this or any other factor. GMAT results are reviewed in conjunction with all other parts of the application.

All kinds, but only full-time post-baccalaureate work experience is counted in the official statistics we report. When we evaluate your application, we consider all full-time work, military experience, part-time work, internships, co-op assignments, summer jobs, and volunteer work.

Over the past three years, the average score of successful applicants on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score was higher than 630.

International students have to score a minimum 213 (computer-based); 550 (paper-based) or minimum IBT (internet-based test) - Speaking (23), Listening (19), Reading (19) and Writing (15). The scores can't be older than two years.

These tests do help but are not mandatory as far as the admission into a university or college is concerned. However, the students, whose academic records are not good, they may take these tests to support their claim for admission.

Kenan-Flagler keeps a GMAT or TOEFL score for two years after the date on which it was sent. If your score was sent last year, and has not expired, you do not need to re-submit it this year. Contact the MBA Admissions Office as soon as possible and notify us that you are retaking the GMAT. If necessary, your application may be moved to a later application cycle. We evaluate each individual based on his/her credentials. No attempt is made to send the same decision to both spouses/partners.

The GMAT is an acronym for the Graduate Management Admissions Test. Many business schools around the world require applicants to submit the results of these examinations as a criterion for admission to MBA programs. You may want to consider retaking the GMAT if your previous score was very low. If you have recently taken the GMAT and the score was very low, you may still choose to apply to the DMIT program and you may have to take the GMAT a second time. The “total” application will be considered, and there may be other exceptional areas that would still make your candidacy viable.

I have been accepted for Dalhousie's first year medical school class but won't finish my sumer employment until after registration day.

Each Admissions Committee member is allocated a number of files to present at the meetings. The members' task is to summarize your application and present it to the remaining members. Following the presentation and some discussion, a vote is taken by the committee and a final decision is reached.
