The Office of the County Clerk sells NYS fishing licenses during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00-4:30. You must bring in last year's license or a valid driver's license to purchase a new license. This office does not sell hunting licenses.

You can purchase your license online at http://www.wildlifedepartment.com/onlinesales/onlinesalesintro.asp. or an annual license can be purchased at any license dealership that sells hunting and fishing licenses for the Department. Licenses can also be purchased at any Department hatchery, the Jenks office and the Oklahoma City office. Sportsmen can purchase licenses by telephone via 1-800-949-6392 and the license will be mailed to that individual.

Hunting & fishing licenses are available at the following Carroll County locations: Carroll County Recorder, Swan Lake State Park Office.

In Lake County, recreational hunting and fishing licenses may be purchased at the Tax Collector's Office at 15733 Dora Avenue in Tavares. For information call 343-9622. A person who has maintained a permanent place of abode within this state for a least 90 days immediately preceding the purchase of a license, has established by formal evidence an intent to continue to reside in this state, and who is not licensed to hunt or fish as a resident in another state may purchase a resident license.

You need to bring your driver's license or a past DNR license that shows your permanent DNR number. If you wish to purchase a license for a gift, you will need either a DNR number or their SSN and date of birth.
